INSTALLING OMNET Make sure you have installed it correctly. How do you know that it is installed correctly? Here are few points to check:
a. The simulation systems. The for example omnet main folder for version omnetpp-3.2p1-src (works on windows xp and visual c++ 2005 professional) should contain:

INSTALLING OMNET Make sure you have downloaded the right version or suite. How do you know that it is the right version? Here are few points to check:
- Probably the one that suits your operating systems type, either windows, red had, knoppix, ubuntu , etc
- Probably the one that suits your operating systems version, either windows 2000, windows xp, etc
- Probably the one that have or supports the protocols that you want to simulate, such as MIPV6, HMIPV6, etc.
- Probably the one that works or compatible with the software or application that you are planning to use, such as OMNET with Visual C++, etc.
